Early Childhood Systems Summit - Registration is Open
Registration is now open for the Iowa Early Childhood Systems Summit and Early Childhood Iowa 20th Anniversary Celebration on October 3rd at the Sheraton Hotel in West Des Moines.
The Summit is designed to engage partners that are involved in local and state-level early childhood systems work, as well as business and economic leaders, civic and faith leaders, education leaders, law enforcement and policymakers.
The Summit will focus on to areas:
1. How young children's experiences with caregivers impact brain development and future outcomes in lifelong health, academic and economic success based on over 20 years of research and data, and
2. How child care impacts Iowa communities and businesses by increasing the number of employees that are qualified, productive, reliable and committed to stay with the company.

There will be two tracks at the Summit:
- Early Care Health and Education Track – A statewide event to engage partners in early childhood system work.
- Business and Economic Leader Track – Iowa business and economic leaders will have an opportunity to learn and be a part of discussions about how employee child care related breakdowns impact employee productivity and your company’s profit.
The day culminates with a 20th Anniversary evening celebration of Early Childhood Iowa!
