What's happening in early childhood in Iowa? On Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 1:00pm-2:30pm Early Childhood Iowa's system partners will highlight Iowa's early childhood system statewide initiatives. ECI State Board members, ECI Area Board members, early childhood programs and service providers, Iowa legislators, and any stakeholder in Iowa's early childhood system are encouraged to attend this virtual event.
December 7, 2021 ECI Stakeholders Alliance Meeting
The ECI Stakeholders Alliance will meet via Zoom with large and small group discussions. Anyone who is interested in learning about and/or supporting Iowa's early childhood system is encouraged to attend. Save the date and the agenda will be coming soon.
The purpose of the Early Childhood Iowa Stakeholders Alliance (ECI SA) includes:
Overseeing/providing input into the development of a comprehensive, integrated early childhood system for Iowa that meets the needs of children ages 0-5 and families, and integrates the early learning; health, mental health and nutrition; family support and special needs/early intervention systems
Supporting the Early Childhood Iowa State Board in addressing the early care, health, and education systems that affect children ages 0 -5.
Advising the governor, general assembly, state board, and other public and private policy bodies and service providers in coordinating activities and policies related to Iowa’s comprehensive early childhood system.
