  • Local boards prepare their upcoming fiscal year budget plans and draft contracts or renewals

 

 
  • ECI Area SR/EC Payment Released (4th qtr)
  • Conduct Designation Reviews with ECIA Boards
  • Conduct Mid-Cycle Reviews

  • Submit audit/AUP from previous fiscal year
  • ECI Stakeholders Alliance Meeting
  • State share distribution for next fiscal year

 
  • Release ECI Area contracts
  • ECI Area Directors Regional Meetings – as determined by regions
  • ECI State Board Meeting
  • Local boards finalize their local contracts or renewals so signatures occur before July 1 of the upcoming fiscal year

  • ECI Area budgets due in IowaGrants (Target: before 7/1; required by 7/15)
  • Signed Contracts and fiscal agent agreements due before first quarterly payment (Target: 7/1)
  • Conduct Mid-Cycle Reviews

  • Comprehensive community needs assessment to ECI State Office (10/31) (Year of Designation)
  • Comprehensive community plan submitted to ECI State Office (10/31) (Year of Designation)
  • Area Board strategic plan submitted to ECI State Office, if different from community plan (10/31) (Year of Designation)
  • ECI Area SR/EC payment released (2nd qtr)

 

November

December
  • Conduct Designation Reviews with ECIA Boards
  • ECI State Board Meeting

 
  • ECI Stakeholders Alliance Meeting
  • ECI Area Directors Regional Meetings – as determined by regions
  • Conduct Designation Reviews with ECIA Boards

 

 

As of March 2020 – ECI statewide meetings for area directors are being conducted virtually; typically two-times per month.
