Investing in Iowa’s Child Care (IICC) Program

This program is to increase the availability of child care throughout the state of Iowa to improve parents’ access to child care. Child Care Centers and Child Development Homes Eligible 

Three Options Include: 

Start-Up Funding Funding for a new child care facility that received permission to open on or after 1/1/2021

Expansion Funding Funding for an existing child care facility to increase the total number of slots available

Urgent Regulatory Funding for an existing child care facility for expenses to meet regulatory requirements

Applications open May 3, 2021
Max. funding award amount: $750,000
